October Down Day falls on a month that there is no scheduled monthly wing  meeting. My intentions are to hold a special Wing Safety briefing in the month of October.

I will make arrangements to have this duplicated in the north.  Winnemucca, Elko and Ely are not accessible to Reno.  If you are not able to attend this down day in Reno, you will have to send me documentation that you attended a local Squadrons October Down Day and what was briefed.

Safety Officers, when you are entering your monthly safety briefings into the WMU.  Under the Subject column, I would like you to include adequate descriptions of all future Safety Days and especially the October Down Days.  In the subject column it would be a good idea to describe what was briefed in the Sentinel instead of just typing ( READ THE SENTINEL ).
