National Staff College, CAP's premier senior
member professional development course will be conducted at Maxwell AFB,
AL, 26 - 31 October 2008. 25 October and 1 November are travel
days.NSC provides accomplished officers in the grade of Major through
Colonel with the quality leadership experience necessary to develop
national-level policy and effectively manage programs at the wing,
region, and national levels.

ICS Course Requirements
We urgently need to let all our members know
about the new ICS course requirements established by the

CAP/CC memo on NIMS training. Those requirements are in effect now
for all Emergency Services Ops Qualifications. Your support in
motivating people to complete the required ICS courses by 31 Dec 2008
is critical to avoid a severe shortage of mission-capable personnel next

Fiscal year 2009 Inland SAR planning Course
Schedule
The FY09 Inland SAR Planning Course Schedule and Application is
available for download.
The Air Force side of the National SAR School is located in Yorktown,
Virginia. The class is given free of charge but the SAR School does not
fund any of the costs associated with lodging or meals for the
attendees. So attendee must take care of their own costs.
